Karen is an Advisor & Principal of the New England Consulting Group, and a key member of our digital media and retail practice teams.
Karen is a digital strategist experienced at solving business problems with top tier companies including Esteé Lauder Companies, FreshDirect, Office Depot and Novo Nordisk, among others. She has led digital marketing strategy for Bank of America and Pillsbury, and business plan development for BusinessWeek and Campfire, in addition to various other roles in mobile strategy, new product launches and pricing.
Previously, Karen was a senior member of the Digital Customer Experience practice at Capgemini Consulting where she developed a digital strategy for a $30+ billion retailer. She was also Founder and Senior Marketing Specialist of Triple Play Consulting where she worked with top advertising agencies and Fortune 500 clients including Publicis Modem, Rapp and Time Inc.
Most recently, Karen was Director of Product Marketing for Time Warner Cable Media where she was responsible for launching new digital advertising products and leading social media initiatives. She also created and executed the first long-term, multi-platform, multi-product marketing strategy.
Karen has been featured in FMI, AdWeek and various other publications, demonstrating her expertise in media marketing and strategy.
She began her career at Booz Allen Hamilton in the strategy practice and from there went on to Unilever in marketing management roles.
Karen is an adjunct professor at the NYU Stern School of Business and a senior member of the Harvard Club of New York Program Committee. She also co-founded the Wharton Media and Entertainment Network.
Karen holds an A.B. in Economics, magna cum laude, from Harvard University and an MBA in Marketing from the Wharton School of Business.
