Leveraging over 30 years of marketing, technology and strategy expertise, Ken delivers innovative, unique digital solutions to companies of all sizes, from Fortune 500 to cutting-edge startups, including IAC/InterActiveCorp, Sony Music, IBM, Time Warner, TENA/Essity, ABC Carpet & Home, J.Crew, QualityHealth/WebMD and more.
His career began in technology and product development at IBM Global Finance and IBM Australia where he launched a B2B retention and loyalty marketing platform for top clients. From there, Ken held multiple senior marketing leadership roles at Time Warner, NetActive and About.com/New York Times where he led consumer marketing initiatives, developed CRM strategies, initiated new cross-sell efforts and drove revenue via ecommerce.
Ken then became senior director of database marketing & loyalty at IAC/InterActiveCorp, where he led CRM and social media initiatives for Ticketmaster, HSN, Match.com, Frontgate and Garnet Hill catalogs, Lending Tree, and CitySearch. In this role, he created a centralized consumer database that drove cross-sell marketing campaigns with a 300% lift in revenue and order conversion over previous marketing efforts by the individual brands.
Subsequently, he became vice president of marketing and product development at QualityHealth/WebMD, a leading performance-based marketing provider to the healthcare industry, where he led all consumer acquisition, CRM/database marketing, improving retention and growing subscriptions from 1.7 to over 7 million within 18 months, and launched the first mobile app for the company. He also created a SaaS (Software as a Service) product for 3rd party health sites driving new revenue and consumers across multiple channels.
A sought-after digital solutions expert, Ken then became chief marketing officer at GroundLink, where he transformed the ground transportation industry with a new technology and mobile platform that gave frequent business travelers access to cars in over 100 countries. Developing new analytics capabilities to measure consumer LTV via interactive marketing campaigns, he increased consumer retention and reactivated dormant consumers.
Thereafter, Ken took on additional ecommerce, CRM, mobile app, and multi-channel consulting at Digital Realm Consulting as a senior digital consultant. Clients include Sony Music, J. Crew, GE Appliances, Frontgate, Ballard Designs, Asics, AutoZone, Bare Minerals, TENA/Essity, Mighty Leaf Tea, and more.
Ken has extensive training in marketing, technology and strategy. He is a graduate of Lehigh University with a B.S. in Computer Science. He holds a master’s in Computer Science from Duke University and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Duke University, The Fuqua School of Business.
