Ken Romanzi

Ken is an Advisor & Principal of the New England Consulting Group and a key member of our food and beverage practice teams.

A talented and seasoned executive, Ken brings nearly 40 years of marketing, sales and operating experience with numerous global brands and entrepreneurial ventures.
His career began in marketing at PepsiCo/Frito-Lay where he worked on iconic brands such as Doritos, Cheetos and Ruffles and helped pioneer the concept of regional/customer marketing. From there, Ken moved on to Cadbury Schweppes North America where he was Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Planning for their entire soft drink portfolio in North America.

Subsequently, Ken joined Nabisco as President Refrigerated Foods and Senior VP Sales and Distribution for the Nabisco Biscuit Co. and ultimately President of Sales and Logistics for Nabisco Food Groups where he was responsible for four operating divisions with billions of dollars in revenue.

Thereafter, Ken led two entrepreneurial ventures, including Balducci’s Direct, a gourmet food direct-to-consumer business, and as CEO of The Ultimate Juice Company, where he was the prime force behind the national expansion of Naked Juice.

From there, Ken became President of Hasbro Toys and then joined Ocean Spray Cranberries as SVP and COO, where he synchronized marketing, sales and R&D to drive growth at one of the largest agricultural cooperatives owned by more than 700 cranberry growers in the United States, Canada and Chile.

After more than a decade at Ocean Spray, Ken then served as President of Fresh Foods at WhiteWave, where he was responsible for the Earthbound Farm Organic business, the largest organic salad producer in the US.

Most recently, Ken was President, CEO and Director of B&G Foods, providing strategic, financial and operational leadership to the $2 billion dollar American holding company of over 50 iconic food brands. In 2020, he led the company safely through the COVID pandemic, making B&G one of the fastest-growing food companies, and led the acquisition of several brands.

Ken is a graduate of Babson College with a Bachelor of Science in finance and accounting and is a member of the Board of Trustees, where he chairs the governance committee. Ken also attended the Executive Education Program at INSEAD.
