A C-suite leader, M.L. has a proven and unparalleled track record in identifying white space opportunities, revitalizing brands and creating new line extensions now generating billions of revenue dollars worldwide. In beverages alone this includes Powerade, Nestea, RTD IcedTea and Campbell’s V8 Splash, among others.
A master strategist, M.L. skillfully combined her brand management success working for world renowned companies such as H.J. Heinz, Playtex, Bristol-Myers Squibb (Clairol), Coca-Cola, Kraft, M&M’s/Mars, and Schweppes, and her strategy consulting for McKinsey & Company, to ultimately found her eponymous boutique consulting firm specializing in growth strategy, innovation, and marketing.
Prior to consulting, M.L. served as interim Chief Marketing and Planning Officer for Cadbury Beverages Europe, and led the development of the first pan European marketing and sales plans.
M.L. also worked extensively internationally and led global strategy engagements for Unilever Food and Beverages, Blockbuster International, Majorica Pearls, Naya Spring Water, and The Hard Rock Café and also advised European clients about entering the U.S. market.
In addition to her consumer practice experience, M.L. also served as interim COO for an internet information technology start-up and Advisor to IT start-ups such as Market Tools, Commerce Inc., and Go2 Systems, including successful and comprehensive work for WellPoint’s health care venture group, Arcus Enterprises.
M.L. is a graduate of Cornell University and completed the Master’s Program at The Graduate Faculty of The New School For Social Research and was selected, in 1990, as a founding member of Cornell’s prestigious President’s Leadership Council.
