He is a digital strategy leader with over 20 years of experience operating at the intersection of marketing, technology and business.
Paul has a broad range of experience championing the use of digital technologies and channels in marketing and communications from start-ups to global organizations. His experience has been continuously evangelizing and leading new thinking during a period of massive disruptive change, where the allocation of marketing budgets to digital has gone from less than 1% to over 35%.
Most recently, he spent seven years at Citigroup as Head of Global Digital Communications with responsibility for all digital aspects of brand marketing and communications, including launching Citi’s corporate social media operations to where they are now considered a benchmark within financial services.
Paul has expertise across the omni-channel digital landscape and the effective integration of brand, digital and social media into marketing strategy and the customer experience.
Known as a skilled connector of people and ideas, he has demonstrated success in developing and delivering digital solutions to Fortune 100 companies and other market leaders in financial services, healthcare, professional services, travel and leisure and consumer packaged goods.
Paul has spoken at many marketing conferences and is an active advisor and investor in several digital start-ups.
He has a BSc in Economics and Accounting from Southampton University in the UK and qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
