Bob’s career spans almost 30 years and includes marketing roles for Fortune 500 companies and a management/ marketing strategy consultant. He is a transformational leader with a stellar record of driving impressive revenue and earnings growth, building strong consumer and customer relationships, and identifying breakthrough solutions.
Bob is a senior executive routinely solicited as change agent to ignite consumer demand, build brand loyalty, and deliver meaningful sales/earnings growth.
He began his career in brand management at Procter & Gamble before moving on to Bausch & Lomb. While working at B&L, Bob focused on taking B&L beyond the eye to new consumer health/beauty categories. He negotiated and acquired Curél as an initial entry into the skin care mark, doubled market share within three years, and sold the brand for $120 million, 50% above the acquisition price.
Through the years, Bob has held management positions with ever-increasing responsibilities at Ray-Ban Group, Luxottica, Staples and Office Depot. His positions included President of U.S. Healthcare, Global VP Marketing & Product Design, VP of Marketing Americas, and EVP and Chief Marketing and Merchandising Officer.
During his tenure at the various companies, Bob created award winning product campaigns that delivered multi-million-dollar growth, inspired customer commitment and strengthened brand equity. He is adept at leveraging business alliances that facilitate achieving corporate objectives.
Bob holds a Bachelor of Science from Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Finance and an MBA in Marketing from Harvard Business School.
